How winter affects your skin

winter-skin-beautyWinter is the favorite season for the majority of women. The cold blush to our cheeks , snowflakes fall gently around us, the rain gives us her own melody as it falls and we all desire to highlight our face as it is usually the only part of the body that is exposed during winter season.

I know it’s nice picture in your mind but can easily be spoiled if we think that the winter months can damage our skin for various reasons. For start, the air can very easily make it dry and in conjunction with the cold to cause irritation and chapped lips, rash across the face (as under the nose ) and in our hands.

 

So a lip balm, a good facial moisturizer, a toning lotion and a hand cream are essential tools for keeping your face bright, healthy and your hands moisturized and soft.

Think about it …. variations in temperature caused in our body when we move from cold places to hot (and vice versa), which reflects directly on our face and in our hands as those are usually the only exposed parts of our body during the winter. So having in mind what we discussed above and combining that: winter makes us forget to drink water often and the sun unfortunately easily do damage to our skin, we must realize that our body and hence our skin, asks desperately for hydration. Our mission? Well guessed! We need to hydrate our body inside out!
